A disheveled Al appears and berates Sam for not stopping Dirk and Beth from meeting and says Beth gets the Navy to declare her husband dead and marries Dirk. Skaggs gives the same impression to Dirk about Beth. Sam startles Beth by knowing her name and makes her think Dirk is under investigation. ![]() They come upon Beth and Dirk, and Sam takes over changing the tire, while Skaggs “questions” Dirk. Skaggs questions how Sam knows that a woman he's never met, Beth, will meet a lawyer as she tries to change a flat tire. Meanwhile, Sam and Skaggs drive toward the marina. The woman is Beth Calavicci (played by Susan Diol) and he is Dirk Simon (played by Norman Large). A stranger comes up and tries to help her out by changing the tire. The man she marries she meets on April Fool's Day, 1969.Ī young, pretty woman cries as she tries to fix a flat. Al is waiting for him and gives Sam the facts about his leap. Sam, still in heels and a skirt, gets several whistles from the other police officers. Skaggs and Sam return to the police precinct locker room. He tells Sam that you get one freeze up and still get to live to talk about it. Skaggs tells Sam about freezing up in Vietnam after seeing a naked baby on the trail, which ended up being a set up for an ambush. Sam realizes he is an undercover cop in drag and not a woman. An undercover cop, who is identified as Skaggs (played by Jason Beghe) also joins the fray, while Sam hide behind a dumpster. ![]() A cop car pulls up and a gun battle ensues between the two armed men and the police. Upon seeing Sam, they point their guns at him and call him a narc. Two armed men run into the alley from one of the buildings. ![]() He opens his purse and finds a walkie-talkie and a gun. He examines his reflection in a cracked mirror in the alley and sees what appears to be a fairly homely woman. He laments being in heels and being a woman again. But as the leap goes on, he becomes less and less sure if that is the reason he is there.Īpril 1, 1969: Sam leaps into San Diego wearing heavy make-up, a mini skirt, and heels and smoking a cigarette in an alley. Is it possible that this future leap sees Ben as Ben? Did Ian leap and get herself stuck in that particular leap knowing that Ben would soon arrive? Remember how Stawpah was able to leap once Sam served as “safety inspector”.Sam leaps into police detective Jake Rawlins (played by Doug Bauer) and is set to save a woman from marrying another man while her husband is M.I.A. The aloof Ash gets distracted, miscounts, takes one too many drops and awakens in worn out torn up, devastating future. Mix THAT with the intended EVIL DEAD 4 as Ash is given a potion and is instructed to swallow one drop to represent how much time he wants to sleep through to return to his correct time in space. Hiding yet eavesdropping on “what is her future” if the course of events continue as is or history is purposefully altered or inadvertently changed via character evolve (as Marty changes history without even knowing in the end of PART III) “Im in the FUTURE” Jennifer gasps and grasps in a state of Sherlock Holmes. The leap into the future tinkers with a mixture of the dark chrome that is the unfortunate stereotypical perspective of doom and gloom with the silver lining being objects float/hover/fly.īen’s reaction is part Jennifer in BACK TO THE FUTURE PART II when she is found by the 2015 police identified as being “misplaced” and brought safely home to the McFly manor.
